What is PREDETECT?

An Overview of the System

PREDETECT enables organizations with text-based user-generated content to request an algorithmic evaluation as to whether a user is behaving similarly to an online child predator.

The PREDETECT system does store messages or message content, but instead parses, analyzes, and returns relevant indicators found within it which organizations can use to take appropriate actions on. PREDETECT provides Keyword Parsing, User Profile Generation, and Categorical Targeting to effectively detect predatory behavior.

Deployment

Deploy PREDETECT on-premise, in the cloud, or using a hybrid model.

PREDETECT supports several deployment options, giving you the flexibility to leverage the system based on the model that best suits your requirements.

While cloud-based access is preferred, if your organization has already invested in existing servers and systems, or if you have other business considerations mandating the use of an on-premises solution deployed behind your organization’s firewall, a traditional on-premises deployment approach may be right for you.

Training

No organization’s data set looks the same.

Utilizing the latest in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, PREDETECT has been designed to be flexible enough to allow organizations to train the system using their own data sets without sacrificing the accuracy of detecting potentially-abusive behavior.

Monitoring

While operational monitoring is essential, ensuring the effectiveness of classifications is paramount.

The PREDETECT system provides organizations with several ways to monitor common machine learning issues.

Metrics such as overfitting, underfitting, and other key attributes are available to detect when human intervention may be required.

Privacy & Security

PREDETECT is intended to programmatically evaluate unknown content based upon known behaviors so that appropriate actions can be taken by your organization.

To ensure the security of message data and authentication credentials, this service is accessible only via HTTPS.

This service only associates statistical attribute data with a given user and does not store message content at any time.
